Remembering Marilyn Katz, Longtime Einstein Trustee

Marilyn Katz, a member of the Einstein Board of Trustees since 1997 and a cherished friend of the College of Medicine, died on Jan. 22, 2026, at the age of 92. Mrs. Katz was born into a Bronx family whose name is well known at Einstein. Her parents were the late Jack and Pearl Resnick, for whom the Einstein campus is named. In 1998 she was named the founding chair of the Albert Einstein Cancer Center’s Cancer Research Advisory Board. In 2024, she and her husband made a transformative gift to establish the Marilyn and Stanley M. Katz Institute for Immunotherapy for Cancer and Inflammatory Disorders at Einstein.
